The Farnon Suite at Skeldale House

Gem of a find in a great location. What’s not to like about this place! Positive: We loved our stay. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had a perfect room with a comfy bed, nice pillows, quality linen, soft large towels, quality toiletries and hot showers. The addition of a bath is great. Kitchen is so well equipped and clean. Great views of the dales. Host communications were very good with great instructions on access to the property and its location. Jas even sent a message saying we could access early. We cannot fault this property and would definitely stay again. A great location for walks and the waterfalls walk is very good. Also really enjoyed learning the history of the village of Askrigg and its connections to the TV series ‘All creatures great and small’. The Kings Arms pub has the friendliest staff and great food. We would love to stay at Skeldale house again and can’t wait to return. Negative: We loved it all

Fantástisch en onvergetelijk Positive: Als James Herriot fans, een fantastische ervaring! Een prachtig pand. Wij hadden de Farnon suite, een prachtig ruim appartement, 'stylish' ingericht, mooi uitzicht op het dorpspleintje, de leuke landelijke huisjes en de Dales. Zeer rustig. Heel veel herkenning uit de serie 'All creatures great and small' (1978) in het kleine prachtige dorpje Askrigg. Een schattig eetkeukentje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Prima badkamer, met douche in het bad op pootjes. Zéér vriendelijke eigenaren, die er alles aan doen om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te laten zijn. De 'Drover's Arms' pub schuin aan de overkant. Een onvergetelijk en fantastisch verblijf in Skeldale House. Thanks Lisa & Greg.

Comfortable, spacious, clean, great location. Positive: Great location and atmosphere. Large and very comfortable suite. Negative: Nothing not to like.

Charming Positive: Great area to be in, good for walking or travelling around, The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The village was really charming and the whole feel was olde worlde. We have stayed here a number of times and it never disappoints
